State police say an Indiana County woman is facing charges following an investigation into accusations that she repeatedly sexually assaulted a young, female relative over a period of five years.

Troopers say the victim reported that she had been sexually abused by Alyssa Isenberg, now age 21, approximately 20 to 30 times, from 2015 to 2020.

According to the affidavit, police say the alleged abuse began when the victim was just seven years old.

Investigators say the victim described one incident in which Isenberg reportedly climbed into her bed and began groping her while she slept.

Police say the alleged assaults occurred at multiple residences in the Penn Run and Clymer areas.

According to online court records, Isenberg was arraigned Friday on charges of felony sexual assault and indecent assault.

She was released on unsecured bail.
