Authorities with the Richland Township Police Department say a Latrobe man is behind bars following a domestic-related incident Thursday afternoon.

According to the affidavit, police received a report of threats being made in the area of the 100 block of Jari Drive.

Police say 43-year-old Antoine Drew was reportedly engaged in a physical altercation with a woman while driving through the area.

According to the woman, authorities say the argument led to Drew "driving aggressively" and "speeding in the opposite lane."

Police say Drew also reportedly reached for his firearm during the incident and threatened to shoot the victim when she told him that she was going to "jump" out of the vehicle.

Investigators say the couple then began to fight over the firearm, at which point the victim allegedly grabbed the keys from the ignition, threw them out the window and started yelling for "help."

Police say Drew then allegedly "pulled" the woman back into the vehicle, by her hair, and told her to "shut up."

Authorities say officers found the vehicle stopped along the curb and a firearm was recovered a short distance away from the scene.

Police noted that Drew was not legally allowed to possess a firearm.

According to online court records, Drew was charges with various domestic violence related offenses, including aggravated assault, unlawful restraint, making terroristic threats and reckless endangerment.

He is being held at the Cambria County Prison on $100,000 bail.
